Quote

While it may seem counter-intuitive, teaching is an amazing way of learning -- I learned more about programming by teaching it to others than I did by actually writing code. Different developers have different (sometimes way different) ideas about what is good code, and by discussing it with them, you grow (even if you were right in the first place). It also helps solidify your own arguments by forcing you to actually think them through and explain them in ways that others can understand.

With a slight bit of trepidation I'm rolling out a new comments page for the blog. I never liked the old page much -- too much scrolling, for starters -- so I jury-rigged a tab-control-like thing. I also added a toolbar of buttons that will wrap formatting tags around text. Still a "Source view" kind of thing, but slightly improved, perhaps.

Anyway, I keep finding bugs, so I doubt they're all gone. Let me know, I guess. If it turns out that you can't leave a comment, then email me.

PS This won't make it into the download real soon -- I'm in the middle of a somewhat large refactoring exercise that's going to take some time.
